McKenzie – Clinical Team Lead & Dental Hygienist
McKenzie is our clinical team lead and began her career in dentistry as a dental assistant before she became a hygienist. She joined our team in 2021 and we feel that McKenzie’s experience and wide range of skills and knowledge are of great benefit to the practice and our patients! McKenzie loves connecting with patients to learn about their lives and families, while building meaningful relationships. She likes reality TV, being outdoors, and spending time with her fiancé, Cody.
Justine
Justine, originally from Upstate New York, has been a dedicated dental hygienist for over 10 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene and a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration. Justine is passionate about creating a welcoming, comfortable environment for her patients while delivering high-quality care and education. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, watching reality TV, and attending live concerts.
Sophia
Sophia is Dr. Benefield’s trusted dental assistant and a valued member of our team. She earned her Expanded Functions Certificate in Dental Assisting (EFDA) and is passionate about continuing her education in the dental field. Sophia speaks English and Chinese and enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and welcomed during their visits. Known for her positive attitude and teamwork, Sophia is always willing to lend a helping hand to both patients and coworkers alike. Outside of the office, Sophia enjoys gaming and spending time with her friends.
Ashlee
Originally from Orlando, Florida, Ashlee recently made the move to Atlanta and is excited to be part of the team as one of Dr. Benefield’s dental assistants. She has worked in the dental field since 2018 and is passionate about creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient who walks through the door. Outside the office, Ashlee enjoys exploring everything Atlanta has to offer, getting lost in a good book, and unwinding with reality TV alongside her two cats, Rocket and Nebula.
Nia
Nia, an Atlanta native, is the face you see when you sign in for your appointment. She greets every patient with upbeat, positive energy and goes out of her way to make your experience pleasant and seamless from start to finish. Nia’s interest in dentistry grew out of a desire to help people, which is evident in her compassion and kindness.
She enjoys watching movies (scary ones are her favorite!), writing poetry, and trying new foods. She loves hanging out with her friends and her cat Lucy!
