Dr. Clara Shin was raised in Marietta, Georgia, and is proud to call Georgia home. It is where she grew up, built her own life and family, and now has the privilege of caring for families in the same community that helped shape her.
Dr. Shin earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. Since graduating, she has spent years practicing comprehensive general dentistry and caring for patients of all ages. While she enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, she has a particular interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Dr. Shin believes exceptional dental care begins with a genuine relationship between doctor and patient. She takes the time to listen, understand each patient’s individual needs and goals, and create a dental experience that feels personal, comfortable, and never rushed. For Dr. Shin, one of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry is earning a patient’s trust and building relationships that continue for years.
She also enjoys staying involved in the dental community. Dr. Shin is a founding board member of the Georgia Korean Dental Association and has volunteered her time and skills to provide dental care to underserved communities through mobile dental outreach clinics.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Shin enjoys yoga and spending time with her husband and son. As a family, they love being outdoors, taking advantage of Georgia’s beautiful weather, and discovering new places together. She also enjoys spending time with friends, trying great food, and is always happy to discover an exceptional sushi restaurant.
